Taban Building      Tehran 2013

 

The objective was a refurbishment of a residential tower to office spaces for a single company. 

 

To Minimize the impact on existing building, new window systems were designed to be replaced by old ones, with an innovative system of light control and shading for a sustainable approach. 

 

The color shades of green would be changed according to the light and the inhabitant preference, giving an ever changing and dynamic look to the facade, making it distict from the surrounding buildings. 

 

The louvere system over the facade makes a micro climate and natural air ventialation under it,still giving more a more efficient energy performance the the building.
